The 2005 and 2006 Census, drawn from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, provide detailed data on race, ethnicity, income, occupation, ancestry, family structure, language, and more. For New York City, it provides data for Sub-Borough Areas. For New York State, they provide data for the larger Counties.
Note: For some data items and some geographic areas, no data will appear because there were too few cases in the Census Bureau's sample to provide a reliable count. Some counties in New York State do not appear because they have fewer than 65,000 people, the Census Bureau's limit for the 2005 and 2006 version of the American Community Survey.
